Orcas Web and its parent company Orcas Online have been involved with hosting and web design for over twenty years. Now that we’ve begun a high tier hosting program we are happy to announce our new hosting packages to the hosting customers that have been with us from the beginning. In the past we have crafted hosting arrangements for our customers on the basis of their business requirements, but now we are confident our specially designed hosting package can meet any need for our current and future customers.
LEGACY HOSTING CUSTOMERS
Any existing Orcas Online hosting customers will be seamlessly transitioned to the appropriate hosting plan from Orcas Web’s list of packages. User credentials like email and payment will remain the same, although you may be contacted by our customer service team to re-enter your username and password into the new hosting system. Any domains you have registered with us will be transferred to Orcas Web without any hassle.
Will my hosting costs change?
We plan to place each of our legacy hosting customers into the package that most closely represents their current arrangement in pricing and features. In some cases the cost may go up or down by a small amount, and you will be notified about the details of the change before the move takes place, and you will have the chance to make alterations at that time. What will happen to my emails?
If you have a hosting plan that includes email accounts then those will also be transferred to Orcas Web. All of your emails will be transferred with no action required on your part; your email address, password, and saved emails will remain unchanged. The Manage WordPress Account package is not available to email customers, but all other packages are an option we can supply to you; if you wish to end email hosting with us you can do so at any time.
Can I choose not to be transferred?
Orcas Web is maintained by the same staff and principles that Orcas Online utilizes to serves its clientele. We are striving to make this transition as simple and easy as possible; additionally your data will not change hands between servers, all of your information will remain where it is and your access will not be hindered in any way.
